Selecting a Theme

Figure 1 below shows the part of the Select Theme and Music page that allows the selection of the theme of the video tribute. Click on the radio button of the theme you would like to use for the video. You must click on the "Submit Theme and Music" button to actually record the changes.

The themes provide our videographers with a general idea of how to layout the video tribute. However, the video clips added to the video tribute are not fixed. For example, a videographer may decide to place a video of the U.S. Capital in a Tropical/Beachside theme if the video tribute includes a picture of the deceased visiting the U. S. Capital. Generally, the videographer will place such footage very near or adjacent to that picture.

Selecing Music

Loving Honors, Inc. provides a wide variety of licensed music to help set the mood of the video tribute. Figure 2 to the left shows the part of the Theme & Music page devoted to the selection of music. No music has been selected for the video tribute in Figure 2.

Click on the "Select Music" button to open the page that permits the selection of music.

Please note the "Submit Theme and Music" button. You must click this button after selecting the theme and music to send the information to us.

Figure 3 shows part of the page used to select music. The Folder button displays a list of music you can select. The UP and DOWN arrow buttons move selected music up or down in the list, and the X button deletes a piece of selected music. The name of the selected music will appear after you have selected music. You must submit the selected music after you have added it to the list. To do that click the "Show Theme and Selected Music" button. This will show the page with the "Submit Theme and Music" button. Click on that button to submit the theme and music.

Clicking on the "Folder" button will display the music list shown in Figure 4. You can select a different class of music by changing the category from Broadway Music to some other category. You can click on the "30 Second Clip" to hear a short section of the piece.

Click on the title to select the music. This will place the name of the piece in the box shown in Figure 3. You should select at least two songs unless the video has very few pictures. Select three pieces if there are more than 30 pictures in the video. We will add more music if there is not enough music for the length of the video tribute.

You must click on the "Show Theme and Selected Music" button after you have selected the music. This will take you back to the page shown in Figure 2. The names of the selected music will be shown in the list. YOU MUST CLICK ON THE "Submit Theme and Music" BUTTON TO REGISTER YOUR THEME AND MUSIC SELECTIONS. YOU WILL LOOSE THE SELECTIONS IF YOU LEAVE THE PAGE WITHOUT CLICKING THIS BUTTON!
