Creating a Loving Video™

Creating a Loving Video™ is fast and convenient. Organize the pictures you want to include, scan and upload them. Select theme and music; add text if you would like to. A few hours later you will receive the video presentation through the Internet.

The steps are presented in more detail below. Links are included to images of pages you will encounter while entering the data for the Loving Video™ tribute.

1. You and the family probably will have arranged the photographs of their loved one in an appropriate order. Scan the images, and save to a separate directory. The images must be saved as jpg images. You might name the images 01.jpg, 02.jpg etc. so there will be no error in the order of the images. Click here for a discussion on picture size and compression. 2. You must enter the name and dates of birth and death of the deceased before starting the actual video creation. You should enter other obituary information if the obituary will be displayed in a public web site. Click here to view the obituary entry page. 3. List the obituaries and click on the appropriate Loving Video™ link. This will bring you to a page that allows you to confirm your intent to create a Loving Video™. It allows you to correct the dates of birth and death if either are incorrect. The page also provides links to pages that permit you to upload pictures, select the video theme and music. Finally, there is a link that takes you to the final check out page, where you review all the information and confirm that it is correct. Each of these sections will be described separately. 5. You may correct vital dates by changing them on the general input page. Just change the date and then click on the Correct Date button. Click here to view the change date entry area. 6. Click on an Insert New Slide button to insert either a text or a picture slide. The Insert Slide Button always will insert the slide at the position of the button, so scroll down to the correct button.Click here to see the Insert Slide page. 8. The Final Review and Order Page button renders a page that permits you to review all your selections and submit the information to our videographers. You may rearrange the photos on this page if any of the pictures are out of order. Click here to view the review and check out page. 9. That's it. We will call the person who submitted the pictures if we have any question, but that is hardly ever necessary. Your videos will be uploaded for you to download and view within 24 hours.
